Abstract

The article reveals the actual question of the theory and practice of management of educational institutions. It analyzes the main researches of management entity.. The differences in the content of the concepts of "administration" and "management" are considered. The paper deals with the scientific features of management in modern education. The main functions, principles and methods of management are specified. It presentes the definition of the concept of “scientific administration”. The main problems of reforming the modern education of Ukraine are identified and characterized.
