Aims and Scope

The Ukrainian Black Sea Region Agrarian Science has been established as a platform for scientific dialogue and knowledge exchange in the field of agricultural sciences. Its mission is to highlight current trends, challenges, and innovations that shape the future of agricultural science and practice.

Starting with Vol. 28, No. 2, 2024, “Ukrainian Black Sea Region Agrarian Science” has narrowed its focus. The journal publishes articles that have an impact on the development of agriculture. Articles covering the following topics are accepted for publication:

  • Management of Agricultural Enterprises (optimisation of production processes, automation of resource management and introduction of modern technologies to increase efficiency);
  • Rural Development and Regional Management (models of sustainable rural development and regional management strategies);
  • Use of Biotechnology (application of biotechnology to increase yields and environmental sustainability in the agricultural sector);
  • Crop Quality Assessment (analysis of methods and criteria for determining crop quality, taking into account soil, climate and agrotechnology factors);
  • Agricultural Products Processing (research of technological processes and innovations for efficient processing of agricultural products with minimisation of losses and improvement of quality);
  • Development of Livestock and Poultry Farming (analysis of modern methods of breeding, management and technologies to increase productivity in livestock and poultry farming);
  • Analysis of Agricultural Market Trends (research of opportunities to use market trends to increase farmers' profits, agricultural economics);
  • Assessment of the State of Agricultural Resources and Development of Measures for Their Conservation (assessment of the quantity and quality of agricultural resources, analysis of threats to their conservation and development of strategies for sustainable use);
  • Agroengineering and Technological Innovations in the Agricultural Sector (introduction of the latest technologies in agroengineering, analysis of their impact on the productivity and efficiency of agricultural production);
  • Digitalisation and Technical Aspects of Agriculture (study of the introduction of digital technologies in agriculture, analysis of their impact on management processes and production efficiency).
