Academic Integrity

The Ukrainian Black Sea Region Agrarian Science journal publishes only original research articles that have not been previously published and comply with the principles of academic integrity.

Authors are fully responsible for ensuring proper citation and the correct use of third-party materials. Each manuscript must:

  • be original and free from plagiarism;
  • include accurate references to all cited sources;
  • not exceed 3% similarity from any single source.

All submissions are checked using the plagiarism iThenticate detection system, which analyses text similarity against both online and internal databases.
Results are evaluated according to the following criteria:

  • over 85% originality – accepted for review;
  • 75-85% – returned to the author for revision;
  • below 75% – rejected.

Any form of plagiarism is considered a serious ethical violation and is incompatible with the standards of scientific publishing.
If plagiarism is detected after publication, the editorial board will conduct an internal review, contact the author, and take action in accordance with the journal’s Publication Ethics Policy. Plagiarism checking is carried out using the iThenticate program.
