Theories of regional development and their influence on the development of agricultural territories

Abstract

The article examines the modern directions of development of regional theories, their content and features of evolution. It is substantiated that most theories and concepts of regional development are based on the dependence of socio-economic indicators on the quality of management, and not on the resource potential. The features of regional and national development are highlighted. The additional factors of the influence on the development of rural territories are identified.
