Insurance – as a component of infrastructure providing agricultural enterprise development

The article analyzes the market of agro-insurance in Ukraine. It was established that in the reporting year there have been some positive changes in the agro-insurance market in Ukraine. The paper investigates peculiarities of insurance programs operating in Ukraine today, which allow to compensate losses from weather risks. The list of insurance companies providing insurance of agricultural crops is presented and analysis of their payments is made. A number of reasons and mistaken decisions of the authorities, which g ive rise to distrust of agrarians to agri-insurance, are determined. The article considers state trends in the development of the market of agrotechnics and proposes measures to build an effective model of state support for agricultural insurance.
